Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest turns 13

Between October 21 and 30, the 13th edition of the Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest festival presents the most anticipated films from the Cannes Film Festival selection, with screenings and special guests at the Elvire Popesco Cinema, the Peasant Museum Cinema and Cinematheque Eforie.

This year the festival also brings premieres, award-winning films, Romanian previews, meetings with filmmakers, masterclasses, retrospectives and professional events, in the fall, in the capital and in other cities in the country.

Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest was initiated in 2010 by filmmaker Cristian Mungiu, with the support of the General Delegate of the Cannes Festival, Mr. Thierry Frémaux.
