Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest turns 12 years old.

Between 22 and 31 October 2021, the 12th edition of the Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest festival presents the most awaited films from the selection of the Cannes Film Festival, with screenings and special guests at the Cinema Peasant Museum, Cinema Elvire Popesco, Cinema Union, National Museum of Art of Romania – Auditorium Hall, Verona Garden and online on Orange TV Go. The festival will showcase a vast array of premieres, award-winning films, Romanian previews, meetings with filmmakers, masterclasses, retrospectives and professional events, in the capital and in other cities around the country.

Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest was initiated in 2010 by the director Cristian Mungiu, with the support of the General Delegate of the Cannes Film Festival, Mr. Thierry Frémaux.
