Les Films de Cannes \u00e0 Bucarest turns 13<\/strong><\/p>\n

Between October 21 and 30, the 13th edition<\/strong> of the Les Films de Cannes \u00e0 Bucarest<\/strong> festival presents the most anticipated films from the Cannes Film Festival selection, with screenings and special guests at the Elvire Popesco Cinema, the Peasant Museum Cinema and Cinematheque Eforie.<\/p>\n

This year the festival also brings premieres, award-winning films, Romanian previews, meetings with filmmakers, masterclasses, retrospectives and professional events, in the fall, in the capital and in other cities in the country.<\/p>\n

Les Films de Cannes \u00e0 Bucarest was initiated in 2010 by filmmaker Cristian Mungiu, with the support of the General Delegate of the Cannes Festival, Mr. Thierry Fr\u00e9maux.<\/p>\n
