Lee joined the Variety team after having occupied the same position at The Hollywood Reporter (2007-2012). Since 2002 she has been living and working in Japan, first as project manager and selector for Short Shorts Film Festival Asia, then as programming consultant for Tokyo Film Festival. Her editorial and curatorial collaborations include the Hong Kong Film Festival, Hong Kong Film Archive and Singapore National Museum Cinematheque.
