Declic is an independent civic organization in Romania, formed by a community of over one million active members, both from the country and from the diaspora. Declic campaigners run online and offline campaigns targeting areas such as environmental protection, health, education, justice or human rights. Declic provides citizens with tools to initiate petitions and get involved in changing public decisions, emphasizing transparency in governance, solidarity and equity. The organization was recognized for its contributions to promoting civil society values, being awarded the GDS Award for 2023.
