On Monday, June 10, at 8:00 PM, the Romanian Cultural Institute will host a special screening of the film <\/span>48 Hrs.<\/span><\/i> in the presence of screenwriter Larry Gross.<\/span><\/p>\n

48 Hrs.<\/span><\/i> follows the story of an unconventional and tough cop, Jack Cates, who is the sole survivor of an attack on several police officers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Larry Gross is an American screenwriter, producer, and director, renowned for his collaborations with Walter Hill. His notable films include <\/span>48 Hrs.<\/span><\/i> (1982), <\/span>Streets of Fire<\/span><\/i> (1984), and <\/span>We Don’t Live Here Anymore<\/span><\/i> (2004), for which he won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2004.<\/span><\/p>\n
